Modern Times

Lisa is a young girl with the passion of the theatre. She is a student who goes to an academy where she is staging Shakespeare Otello, which is considered the first stalker of the literature about the well- known story of jealous and dead with Desdemone.

Lisa is fall in love with Marco, a violent and irascible boy, who is getting very awful when his girl leaves him, making his ex- girlfriend’s life unlivable. The girl lives alone with her mother, who has a lot of depressive crises, which lead her to abuse alcohol, for this reason, she can’t help her daughter, indeed the latter one will have to help her. That’s why she contacts her grandmother, a nice old woman who plays the piano with a group of classical musicians. Meanwhile, Lisa tries to make her life normal, despite Marco’s obsessive presence, she is falling in love with Dario, a boy from the theatre company. For this reason, her ex-boyfriend, Marco is getting more violent, who continues to threaten her. Lisa helped by her best friend Maricla, she is looking for help in a clinic, even by the police after Marco’s last attack, during a party. But Lisa loved Marco and in spite of everything she can’t report him so as not to ruin his life. But this gesture of generosity is not understood by Marco, clouded by jealousy and the desire for revenge. For this gesture of love she will endanger her own life.

Micheal was left at the altar by his girlfriend while he was going to get a tenured Professor. His dream to get an official occupation has vanished, because of his sick colleague Lamberti came back to school and he has lost the will to believe in marriage, almost as a mocking destiny, He received a proposal from his sisterr Adele Pandolfi to help her wedding planner agency. A little sceptical, but without any other prospective, he accepts.
